- The antibody level must be at least 0.5 IU/ml.

Obtaining Export Permission and Veterinary Approval
Before traveling with a pet, it is necessary to obtain official export permission from the competent veterinary authority of the country of departure. This is the first and mandatory step in the entire relocation process.
- The export application is usually submitted through the official government veterinary portal or the authorized veterinary service of the country of departure: official veterinary authority portal
- You will need to provide your pet’s details, including the microchip number and vaccination records.
- All documents must be accurate and fully consistent, as any discrepancy may result in refusal at the border.
- After approval, an official export certificate is issued confirming that the animal meets the veterinary requirements for travel.
- This certificate is required for the subsequent issuance of an international veterinary certificate.
In most cases, the final veterinary certificate must be issued or endorsed by an official state veterinarian shortly before departure. It is strongly recommended to check the timelines in advance, as delays or incorrect documents may result in denied boarding or refusal of entry.

In practice, short instructions published on official websites are often incomplete or simplified. This frequently leads to mistakes in veterinary documents, problems during airline check-in, or difficulties at border control. If you have any doubts, it is better to share this page with the person preparing the documents or travel route and double-check everything before the trip.
