Pet Transport Story:

Two Dogs Travelling from London to Moscow via Istanbul

A Real-Life Journey of Roxi and Kimi — Pet Transport from London with Comfort and Care

Every pet relocation tells its own story. This is the story of Roxi and Kimi, two wonderful dogs we recently transported from London to Moscow. What makes this journey memorable is an unexpected 11-hour layover in Istanbul that turned into a calm and even joyful experience for the dogs — thanks to careful planning, regular walks, and, of course, a few tasty treats.

The 11-Hour Layover in Istanbul

Upon arriving in Istanbul, we had to wait for our connecting courier flight from Moscow. This meant a long wait — but also an opportunity to give Roxi and Kimi plenty of attention and care. We stepped outside the terminal several times to stretch their legs, enjoy the warm and humid Turkish air, and let them relieve themselves on fresh grass. These outdoor breaks helped them stay relaxed and comfortable.

Twice, we visited the airport snack area. As a little treat, I shared some delicious chicken from my own sandwich with them. Their eyes sparkled, their tails wagged, and it was clear this small gesture made their wait far more enjoyable.

Between outings, we stayed in the cooler parts of the terminal, where Roxi and Kimi could rest, lie down, and watch the world go by in the busy international hub. By the time we were ready to board again, both dogs were calm, happy, and perfectly content.

Why This Journey Worked So Well

Even long layovers can be stress-free when pets are handled with patience and experience. Our routes are planned to prioritise animal comfort at every stage. While this trip was from London to Moscow, we also arrange pet transport to London from:

  • Countries across the European Union — including France, Germany, Spain, Italy and more
  • United States
  • United Arab Emirates — Dubai, Abu Dhabi and others
  • Other countries, via carefully arranged international routes

We also provide return trips from London, mostly for our regular clients, often to destinations across Europe.

Care in Every Detail

Our goal is that every pet not only reaches its destination safely, but also arrives in good spirits and health. We pay attention to:

  • Feeding schedules
  • Regular walks
  • Climate conditions along the route
  • The pet’s personal habits and needs
  • The right travel crate size and comfort

We also guide owners through veterinary paperwork and travel requirements to ensure smooth and worry-free journeys.

Conclusion

International pet transport is a responsibility that requires care, patience, and love for animals. The story of Roxi and Kimi proves that even an 11-hour layover can be a pleasant break when pets are looked after with genuine attention.

Whether it’s a dog travelling from London to Moscow or a kitten flying from New York to London, we ensure the journey is safe, comfortable, and kind.
